The mortar Aroma was designed by the Finnish designer Eero Aarnio. He is one of the most innovative scandinavian contemporary designers, always focused on the playful and ironic aspects of the world of design. A sort of “playful Scandinavian”, very much different from the serious design of Northern Europe. The pestle can be hold naturally, and thanks to its oval section, when put on the table it doesn't roll during use.
